The human faculty of making sense of the world, of moving in it understanding and sharing it with others, was born when the human animal, millions of years ago, stood on its feet. The human species begins with the feet, says LeroiGourhan.
A scenic exploration around the idea of the nomad, the one who camps and uncamps, the one who does not put down roots in any land and is not bound by any beliefs. The wanderer, the vagabond, the pilgrim, the permanent foreigner, the uprooted.
Separation is the traveller's own thing, but when he moves away from something, towards what else does he approach? What does he create? What does he transform? What does the idea of permanence generate in the human being? What does it provoke? Do we perhaps need to not remain, to be out in the open or to walk towards the unknown, in order to divest ourselves of that which does not complete our being?
