Theatrical adaptation of the novel by Roberto Bolaño. First performed at the Pavón Kamikaze Theatre in February 2020.
"I can't believe it's night, and that this incandescence is the night".
Una novelita lumpen is the last novel by Roberto Bolaño published during his lifetime. It is a piece of chiaroscuro, a landscape in which impulse, loneliness, uncertainty and expectation drive the existence of its characters. Two brothers are forced to build their future without knowing exactly what this word means. Together with the presence of two other disturbing characters, they will inhabit a strange universe that will make them descend, stir up inside and finally ascend and make decisions. The threat of loss, sex as self-knowledge, the absence of a future and the uncertainty make this dreamlike thriller a reflection on the will to transform time.
Directed by Rakel Camacho, José Luis Alonso Award for Young Stage Direction.
